About the Author

G. R. Sneberger was born in Brazil, was raised in Chile, and studied in USA. During his school years, he was an elite athlete for over six years, winning many tournaments in different disciplines. Just after graduating with honours for his academic achievements, he headed to study business and administration in the USA where he also worked as a waiter at a restaurant to pay for his tuition. Some years later, he returned to Chile and earned his master’s degree in economics and public policy. Since he considered himself a very fortunate person, he was convinced he would be able to generate jobs during his university years, so he started his first internet business offering free geolocated housing throughout Chile. Even though the business model wasn’t as good as initially planned, it got media attention in all major Chilean press, which motivated him to keep on pursuing his dream and moving forward due to the recognition to such a massive job, which started three years before graduating, investing many hours of work while studying, making it very hard to excel in both. Considering he had enough energy to keep on going, he started another parallel business to help companies be ecologically aware and use recycled handcrafted products, for which he hired ten people actively working for the positive impact it had. Yet again, this endeavour brought a lot of media coverage even from international press due to its innovative value proposition. After obtaining his master’s degree, he started working at a major multinational resource company where he was promoted on a fast track and had to travel around the world while in the meantime, he created this third company in the field of education offering training to Spanish-speaking medical doctors from many different countries with a staff of over thirty specialists in different fields of medical knowledge. The institution evolved soon after to an NPO offering free medical treatment to people living in isolated areas. Thanks to his early start and failing in previous businesses, he was able to stand up again and keep on running.
