About the Book

This is the story about how a little olive tree is entwined throughout the lives of a mischievous Irish girl and a wild Viking boy who became enemies and moved far away from each other. When the wind would blow gently through the peaceful olive tree’s leaves, the girl could almost hear it quietly asking for a “do over” or a “let’s forgive and become friends again”; but of course the girl could not, because it takes two people to make a “do over,” not just a girl and a little olive tree. It is a bittersweet story reminding people to spread kindness and forgiveness before it is too late, especially to those closest to us.

Jolynn Singh is a nurse, EMT, and disaster relief volunteer. She believes that in a blink of the eye, everything can change. So forgive often and love with all your heart. You may never know when you may not have that chance again.
