About the Author

Constance Roslinda Gary was born in Columbia, South Carolina. Between 1951 to 1953, she attended schools in Huntington Shire and Margate Kent, England. She graduated from Classical High School in Springfield, Massachusetts. Her major was in fine arts at the University of Hartford, in West Hartford, Connecticut. She earned two certificates from Duke University in nonprofit management and ESL. After completing a twenty-two-week mindful meditation course at Duke Integrated Medicine, she participated on a panel discussing the benefits of mindful meditation at women’s empowerment at PSC in Durham, North Carolina. Ms. Gary currently lives in Durham, North Carolina.
