About the Book
Midnight was a Black Laborador Retriever. We called him “Middie.” Labs, as people call them are known for their loyalty and intelligence. Middie was smart and resourceful. And because he was very active, he had a voracious appetite. Written as a poem with a bit of whimsy and humor, it took Middie’s owner several years to figure out that Middie was not simply seeking companionship as his owner was. He was looking for more.
About the Author
As a teacher, I have been writing stories for children for years. But this is my first attempt at publishing. Working with school-age children for many, years has given me the opportunity to be exposed to volumes of children’s literature. During that time I have enjoyed reading to a vast number of children. The feeling and rhythm of a story have become second nature to me. I want to share my stories with children everywhere. I want to inspire them and promote the love of reading.
