About the Book

This book begins a series of educational books for children aged two and above. Gracie brings to life shapes of all sizes that will get your child’s attention to learn and enjoy the pictures at the same time. This book also gives parents special time with their children. Storytelling can sometimes be a bit challenging for parents. Gracie helps parents, babysitters, grandparents, and even older siblings to make up a story for each shape. Putting this book together was very enjoyable. I hope your child will enjoy the stories and fantasies that can be created with each page turned.

About the Author

Jean has published four books in a murder/suspense series, a book of poetry, and her first children’s book, making her a well-rounded author. Putting together Gracie was a challenge issued to Jean by her son, the father of Jean’s two-year-old granddaughter. Needless to say, Jean has met the challenge and will begin a second Gracie book. Her objective is to help parents teach their children at a young age and provide quality time for parents to spend with their young children. With six books already published in less than a year, Jean found time to set up the site she and her husband purchased in a local Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park. Their travel trailer provides quiet enjoyment and comfort while they participate in the park’s planned activities. One activity in which Jean participated was the park’s talent contest. Yes, Jean won first place in the adult division with her own version of “God Bless the USA.” After being an author, Jean’s second enjoyment is singing. She and her husband are looking forward to the new camping season in 2017, and Jean will begin her second Gracie book that will teach children to recognize vegetables!
