About the Book

Twig Weed is a story about love and friendship. Surely as you read this book, you will get a sense of the emotions that we all feel at sometimes. Throughout this story, many emotions are revealed—superiority and inferiority, guilt and humiliation, and misunderstanding and compassion. It is a story where Twig and Cindy are different, but in spite of them being different, they develop a true and caring friendship. It is a story where just as we so often see in real life, adverse feelings are reversed, and love triumphs over all in the end.

About the Author

Mary Jones was born on May 29, 1930, one of ten childeren. Mary took piano and music-reading lessons at a young age and became an accomplished pianist, singer, and writer of poetry, music, and short stories. This resulted in her writing Twig Weed and the Carrot. Twig Weed and the Carrot is published and dedicated in memory of our mother, Mary, by her four children: Billy, Dianne, David, and Ronnie. We love you, Mom!
