About the Book

Brandon moved to a new town and has no new friends. To cheer him, his dad takes him to the SPCA to find a companion. Once there, Brandon learns a lot about animals which helps him choose the right one for him. The book also brings attention to the misconception black cats are unlucky. The author would like to encourage her readers to consider adopting animals as companions for there are numerous health benefits in doing so both physiologically and psychologically. All proceeds for the book will go to animal relief.

About the Author

Author is a graduate of the Institute of Children’s literature in West Redding, Connecticut. She resides in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and Cape May Court House, New Jersey.
