SERENITY A light wind blows and the rain falls steadily. With teacup in hand I sit on the patio and survey my garden. In just a few years so much has changed; The transformation has been a labour of love. With time and work and passion, the once barren sand now yields life in abundance. Such a journey it's been and I've learned so much. Just as those first vulnerable seedlings have now grown strong, so too have I. Once fragile and dependant I have grown in strength, in confidence and in appreciation. All of those who have supported me And encouraged my growth, I will ever be grateful for. I will weather the storms, welcome the rain and rejoice in the sunshine. I look around me and I feel a deep and abiding serenity; all the various shades of green, the uniqueness of the foliage and the beauty of the flowers, leave me in awe. My own creative endeavours are but a showcase for Mother Nature's splendour; and the words I read somewhere resonate their quiet truth……. My house is where I sleep but my garden is where I live.
