About the Book

Poetry doesn’t always have to be structured. Written by a dyslexic author in a time where individuals thrive of living a life full of illusions and lies. The Naked Truth is a collection of poetry that reveals the author’s past, present, and future while still connecting with the reader’s experiences. The title itself represents that everybody has something about them that is hidden beyond the surface that if revealed would leave them naked and exposed to the world. Welcome to The Naked Truth.

About the Author

It started with my postcode SW9. Growing up in Brixton wasn’t easy, and being affiliated with gangs and being a part of one was what changed me. Losing close ones and shedding tears were the price I paid for the decisions I made. I was the last out of my school peers to figure out what I wanted to become, who I wanted to become. My journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s because of this rough ride that a poet was born. Searching for validation opened my eyes, I found me finally after living my life blind. TheTruthPoet.
