A short story of a little boy with his family, excitement, and joy fills the heart of the boy named Johnny as he is about to enjoy his time on Sled Hill. Enjoying time and attention from family, he says his prayers and thanks to God for the blessings he and his family are receiving. A family that prays together, stays together.

About the Author

Kenneth Bond was born in 1931 in Mesa, Arizona, in the midst of the Depression. He was the third of five children. He enlisted in the United States Army after high school and served during the Korean War. He studied to be a teacher of business at Arizona State College. In 1958, he married Genevra Nelson, and they had three children. He taught school for a while and later entered the insurance business. He and his wife will have been married fifty-two years in January 2011. They are looking forward to many more together.
