About the Author

Born prematurely in Texarkana, Texas, it was clear the world was given a gift ahead of schedule as Pastor Johnasen L. Pack accepted the call to preach at nine years old. Although he initially rejected the call and began participating in gang activities and violence over the next five years, God allowed and used every experience to prepare him for leadership and relevant ministry. Finally accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, Pastor Pack was saved at the age of 15, licensed at age 17, and ordained at age 19. Ministry then led Pastor Pack down a road of servant leadership as he functioned as youth pastor while assisting with ministering in music as well as to the prison population. These assignments took place while serving faithfully under his natural father, Dr. Johnny Pack IV, of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, in Portland, Oregon.
