Dayci stuck her nose in the hole and tried to open her eyes. She stuck her nose further and further down into the hole until all you could see was her bottom half sticking out of the hole wiggling back and forth. She dug and sniffed and stuck her head inside of the hole but all that she saw was a white rock sticking out of the ground at the bottom of the hole. Dayci pushed it aside with her nose. She felt a tickle go up her nose to the tip of her tail. “Aaachoooo,” she sneezed as she pulled her head out of the hole. She touched the stone again with her nose. Dayci jumped back pulling her head away from the stone. She rubbed her paw across her nose, which felt all tingly. Dayci decided to leave the stone alone.

About the Book
Dayci is having a very ordinary day when something extraordinary happens to her. While digging in a rabbit hole, she stumbles upon a winking stone. This is a stone that has been struck by lighting and buried in the ground. What Dayci doesn’t know is that if you wink while looking at this stone, you will shrink. What will Dayci do to get back to her real size? She will need the help of many very different friends. Follow her on her adventure to undo the power of the Winking Stone.

Some of her favorite words are “let’s pretend.” Letty is a mother of five and a grandmother of five. She has a BA in teaching English and ESL to children and adults. She has lived in Calgary, Montreal, and now has her home in beautiful Utah with her husband, Freddie, and Dayci, their German shepherd.
