About the Author

Margaret was raised in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, near the shore between Asbury Park and Seaside Heights. The family moved up north to Lake Stockholm, located on a lake-front community, where she continued her studies. She majored in cosmetology. After graduation, she proceeded to find a position working for Hemsley Spear. She met and fell in love with her husband, thus going back to school for cosmetic hair removal while he was stationed in Germany during Vietnam. She eventually joined her husband, where they spent two years traveling cross-country. Her first son, Michael, was born in Munster-Handorf in a British hospital where, at the age of eight weeks, she was allowed to bring him home to America. She had her second child, Matthew, seven years later in Upstate NY. Margaret, now sixty-three years of age, lives in Glenville, New York, left with three cats and two parrots who keep her company. She enjoys the art museums, culture, and dance. She keep busy with the choir throughout the winter, but most of all, she loves to sit and write her poetry in the serenity of her own home.
