About the Book

Fred is a superhero that protects children from their imaginary monsters that live under their beds. He comes on duty once the lights go out, and he has his own little apartment under each and every child’s bed. He stays alert, and the sun rises. And then it is time for Fred to retreat back to his apartment, and he rests until the sun sets on another day.

About the Author

I am a retired chef turned nanny who never saw myself as a children’s book author. I was raised all over the country because of my parents’ jobs and met many different kinds of people, but I always loved children and reading. Under the Bed Fred happened out of necessity. I used Fred as a tool to get one of my kids to take a nap on his own without me staying with him. This book was written with love and laughter, and I hope your kids enjoy reading Under the Bed Fred as much as I enjoyed creating and writing it.
