About the Book

Christian’s Purgatory is a group of poems that put real life tribulations on display. Each individual poem shares its own story. Christian’s Purgatory, though it is gothic poetry, is not meant to depress its readers but challenge them. They teach that life may not be perfect but it is only what you make it. Though dark things are happening within these poems, it is up to you to find the light. This is God Vs. World.

About the Author

Raised on the outskirts in the small town of Jasper, Florida, I struggled with my identity in Christ and constantly found myself searching for who God was in my life. At the age of sixteen, four years after going to church, sinning, and asking questions, God revealed himself to me. I am no longer in wonder. I am confident in my faith and love for Jesus. Immediately following graduation, at the age of seventeen, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where I served for two years before attending the Naval Academy Preparatory School, where I currently remain on active duty as a United States Marine.
