About the Book

Let’s Count Apples promotes bilingual education for all age groups. It allows the reader to grasp a general understanding of number and color recognition. It gives everyone the opportunity to learn and communicate with dual languages while having fun.

About the Author

Sharon Marie was born in the big house on 103rd street, heart of Watts, a diverse neighborhood in Los Angeles, California. She was in elementary school when she began babysitting children in her family and in the neighborhood. She had a natural instinct of nurturing a child. She always had a way of making things fun for everyone. Sharon Marie enjoys every part of having a hobby but could never choose one. She collects stamps, loves to read, writes poetry, paints, and loves music, dancing, and nature. She is a mom who struggled with motherhood and wondered why parenting didn’t come with instruction. She enrolled in West Los Angeles College to better understand the differences of developing children. While taking child development courses at West Los Angeles College, the book, Let’s Count Apples, was created. As she continued her education, she also understood the importance of effective communication of all bilingual communities.
