About the Book

This is a short story of what happens to the titled character when he does not take what he should be doing seriously. The story shows the range of emotions the character experiences, coupled with the humiliation showered on him from his peers. However, there is a silver lining to the story when you read what he does to redeem himself.

About the Author

I am a retired IT specialist from the Chicago public school system. I have witnessed children playing around in class when they should have been paying attention to the lesson the teacher was instructing them on. I wrote this book in the hope that this will spare a child from the harshness their classmates would exact on them at their failure.
