About the Author

Yvette Ferris' goal is to create a series of books which give grown-ups and young people a way to gently explore difficult life subjects through the eyes of the stories' characters. In this first book, Annabelle, aka Dande-Belle because of her love of dandelions, doesn't understand why Grandpa doesn't remember her anymore. In the end, both he and Dande-Belle remember all that really matters-love doesn't forget. Yvette Ferris graduated with a degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After forays into the restaurant and finance worlds, she has come full circle back to writing. Yvette enjoys supporting her favorite animal rescue groups, supporting Alzheimer's Disease research, spending time with her chosen and biological families, and daydreaming stories about what is next to come.
