It was a dark night and the sound of sirens could be heard all over the city. A cry went out once more that a purse had been stolen. A thief is on the run from the police again. He turns into an alley, hoping to escape justice. “Heh, they can’t keep me down for long, especially one punk kid.”
“Oh?” The thief turns around to see Math Girl sitting on the trashcan, waiting for him, just like last time. She has an eerie smile on, as though she knows something that the thief doesn’t.
“You again? What do you want?”
Math Girl smirked and shrugged. “World Peace would be nice. Not having this job would be even nicer, but eh, sometimes you have to do what people don’t like to keep going.” Then she jumped off the trashcan. “For now though, I’d like you to return the purse and turn yourself in.”
The thief brought out a gun. “Not gonna happen, brat. This time, I came prepared. It’ll take a lot more than just you to catch me!”
Math Girl let out a cocky smirk that startled the thief. “Oh? Well then… I guess I should have brought backup…” Suddenly six other kids jumped down from the various sides of the alley.
Science Girl glared at the thief through her one-way goggles, giving off a feel of ice as she used her powers to literally lower the temperature in the alley for a minute. Bookworm adjusted the shades on his face to look cooler. Sporticus did a fancy flip as he arrived into the alley, making his tennis rackets that he had strapped to his back fly into his hands. Gamer Girl allowed her outfit to glow an eerie green light that seemed ghostly. History Girl allowed her cloak to flow in the wind. Tobor just cocked a grin as he stood next to Gamer Girl, getting some of the creepy green light from her costume to make him look more menacing.
“…oh wait… I did.” Math Girl smirked as the thief dropped the gun and started running away, screaming about demon children.
Science Girl chuckled. “Are they always like that?”
“Nope. I think it’s just him.”
