About the Book

My book, A Boy in a Wheelchair, is a story about my son, Connor. The story goes through the struggles and joy of managing life with a broken leg. It may be helpful to parents out there who are going through a similar journey with a loved one who has been injured or struggling in some way. The story can be enjoyed by anyone of any age! The story touches on how to work together as a family, to accept help from others, and to have faith. I enjoyed writing this book, and I am excited to share the story with others!

About the Author

Author, Mary Benedict, lives in Prior Lake, Minnesota, with husband Christopher, and two children. I am a college graduate with a business economics degree. I enjoy writing when I have spare time. I also enjoy reading books and reading to my children. I love the outdoors. I enjoy camping with my family, and spending time at the lake during the summer. In the winter months, I enjoy snowboarding with my husband, ice skating and sledding with my kids.
