About the Book

Lucy the Hotdog: Adventures at the Dog Park is about a miniature dachshund named Lucy that gets picked on for the way she looks. The other dogs don’t think that she can keep up because she has shorter legs than them. Lucy challenges the lead dog, Princess, to a race to prove to her and all the other dogs wrong. This book is about how all dogs are the same in their own special way, that no dog should be bullied because they may be different.

About the Author

My name is Dana Trombetta. I am twenty-three years old, and was born and raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I am going to school to become an elementary teacher. I have a passion for teaching children and making a difference for their future. My whole life I have had a love for writing, hoping to publish books that make a difference to touch people’s lives. Lucy is my miniature dachshund that has impacted my life dramatically, and I’ve decided to write stories through Lucy to be able to positively impact children.
