About the Book

This is a compilation of love letters between the author and his partner over some years, especially when separated before marriage. Unfortunately, Lynne died in 2010.

About the Author

The author is a retired paediatrician who graduated in medicine from the University of WA in 1959 after study in Perth and Adelaide. He was a country GP for three years before going to the UK to study paediatrics in London and Sheffield. He returned to Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in 1968 as a paediatrician and Assistant Medical Director. Subsequently he studied at UNSW for a masters degree in management and returned to Perth as Medical Director of PMH. In 1995 he went to Wangaratta Hospital in Victoria as Medical Director and later to Traralgon Regional Hospital as Medical Director and paediatrician. Along the way he was President of the WA branch of the Australian Medical Association and a Federal Councillor and later Treasurer and Chairman of the Federal Assembly of the AMA. He chaired the Medical Services Committee of Enquiry in WA for some years and reviewed hospitals for the Australian Council of Health Services. He now plays golf, bowls, skiis, reads, plays the piano and is quite well occupied.
