About the Book
This book has been written for college students who need to conduct academic research. This book addresses reliability assessment on hardware (e.g., police tools). First, the Weibull distribution statistical analysis is used to describe the failure characteristics of a population based on a very small sample size. Indeed, it is quite important to be able to predict when law enforcement tools will fail in the field. Second, this book explains how to use normal probability plots to enhance the reliability of the manufacturing process. This can be described graphically by manipulating the average size and variance of the machined pieces during a production run.
