About the Book

The editors of this book of readings wanted to share various viewpoints and perspectives on leadership that might be of interest to practitioners and scholars. The chapters represent various contributions from authors both in the United States and other countries. In sum, the combined chapters should provide readers with different leadership approaches to ponder. Of special interest is the lens on leadership from authors outside the United States.

About the Author

Dr. Casimir Kowalski, is a former Dean and Professor of Educational Leadership, School of Education, South Carolina State University, and a former Chancellor, Allegheny Campus, Penn State University. He also was Director, International Programs, Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University, and served as President, Alliance College, Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kowalski is the recipient of the U.S. Army Outstanding Civilian Service Medal, and Distinguished Alumnus Award, SUNY at Oswego, NY. He is Editor of Psychology and Education: An Interdisciplinary Journal. Dr. Joseph P. Cangemi is Emeritus Professor of Psychology and Scholar-In-Residence at Western Kentucky University and an international consultant in the area of leadership effectiveness and productive and profitable organizations. He is the author of numerous books, scores of published articles and papers, and was Western Kentucky University’s nominee for the prestigious Carnegie Foundation Professor of the Year National Award. He is Editor of International Journal of Leadership and Change. Professor Abdulmuhsen Ayedh Alqahtani has a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and a PhD in Applied Linguistics. He serves as Department Head, Educational Administration and Planning, College of Education, Kuwait University, Kaifan, Kuwait. He is a well-known consultant and speaker in the Gulf States, and was recognized by Arab Citation and Impact Factor, 2019, as one of the top 5% highly cited authors in the Arab World during the period 2012-217.
