About the Book

Kinley doesn’t like to go to bed. She doesn’t want to waste time or miss something exciting. Grammy and Kinley talk, Grammy doesn’t like to go to bed either. She understands completely. So they agree, at bedtime Kinley will say their special saying, shortly after that Grammy arrives in her shiny blue 4-wheeler. Each night they go on a different adventure where they meet two wood sprites, a hungry black bear, a frog named Felicity, two squirrels named George and Duncan and walk a Sparkling Gemstone Path. Follow along as Haylen and Wesson (Kinley’s sister and brother), join them in their adventures that take place in the family’s 80-acre woods.

About the Author

Patti Pavolko is a wife, mother, grandmother and retired Special Education teacher. She has been married to Dennis, her hero and best friend for 37 years. They have two children Paul and Leslie and three wonderful grandchildren Wesson, Kinley and Haylen. She attended Edinboro State College from 1978-1982 where she pursued a double major. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education. She taught 7th, 8th and 9th grade Learning Support at Conneaut Lake High School for one year. She then spent thirty-two years teaching Learning Support at Springfield Elementary School. She retired in 2015 and became a stay-at-home grandma. She enjoys riding her 4-wheeler, picking blackberries, quilting and playing with her grandchildren.
