About the Book
Set in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2006 the story follows Julia as she struggles with the problems left behind by her late husband. She becomes strong and independent as she copes with threatening anonymous letters and court cases and moral and ethical questions about organ donation are given a new twist. Julia helps police to uncover a corrupt doctor trading in body parts, and finds a new home where she can be safe and happy. Eventually she meets an understanding soul mate who unexpectedly has something in common with her late husband.
About the Author
DAWN EAGLE lives in Prebbleton, a small town south of Christchurch, New Zealand. She has been a widow for 20 years, and enjoys writing and growing roses. She has a large rose garden, breeding roses and writing about roses. This is her second novel, the first being Eliza and the Blue Rose. She has co-written two books on roses with her late husband, and more recently Roses Down Under, which traces the journey of roses from the Northern Hemisphere to Australia and New Zealand.
