About the Book

Kissed by Moonlight is a modern poetry book split into four chapters: “Letters to Heaven”, “Starless Nights”, “Love as Our Melody”, and “The Darkness Fades”. Together, the chapters serve as lyrics to a song of survival, exploring the raw emotions surrounding abuse, love, loss, heartache, and grief. Readers will find themselves within this book, embracing their own passion and pain as they journey to self-acceptance.

About the Author

Jessica Voepel is a 19-year-old from Hannibal, Missouri. She published her first book, Burning the Woulds, at age 17. She is currently a student at Southwest Baptist University, where she is majoring in Social Work and minoring in Writing.
