About the Book

This is the first book in the Bingert and Friends series and tells how these Ace, Wonderful, Fantastic and Amazing beings met and how Rami and Mauish came to live in the forest with Bingert. Bingert is big and powerful but a softie at heart and this tale tells of how he makes friends with the adventurous Rami and the wily and multi-talented Mauish. They have lots of fun with the other creatures that have their homes in the forest and they mete out jungle justice to unwelcome intruders in this unpredictable whimsical world. Bingert, Rami and Mauish are simply delightful. Follow their exploits as their friendship grows!

About the Author

Harry Gauvin came to story writing late in life, but his imagination is as vibrant today as it was when he told stories to his four children at bedtime, and it delighted him to find that they remembered some of them right through to the present day. He has become a prolific writer of children’s books and short stories, as well as a number written for an older audience. His books encourage his beloved grandchildren to enter the magic world of his imagination. The books draw on a very busy life that has included military service and the successful establishment and operation of a State-wide consulting business recognised for its innovation. The stories subconsciously reflect a sense of integrity and fair play as well as the need to care for the environment. They are also playful and good fun. Readers can immerse themselves in tales full of adventure, courage, wisdom and companionship. The set of Bingert and Friends gives life to characters created and drawn by his children.
