Hi there, my name is Anthony Mc Laughlin. I am a proud Jamaican who is presently living in the United States of America. During my time interacting with visitors back home and with anyone here, I have noticed that many people enjoy hearing the way us Jamaicans speak simply because of the uniqueness of our accent and many also seems to be interested in learning it. It is a known fact that at times when a Jamaican speaks, he or she can hardly be understood due to word usage and pronunciation. For all the reasons I thought it would be beneficial to put together a booklet with accompanying audio format that can be used to assist non-natives with learning our dialect.
