About the Book

This book of poems is written from my heart. It’s about GOD, family, holidays, heroes and every day life.

About the Author

I was born in Pikeville Kentucky. I attended Pikeville College, graduated with two degrees, one in psychology and one in human services. I have six children: Kevin, Scottie, Earl, Virginia, Payton, and Christian. They are my world. I have several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I have always wanted to help people so I chose a job working in a crisis unit for troubled and abused children. It was a rewarding job working to help these children, but it was also heart breaking. One of the reasons that I started writing was to ease the heartbreaks that has happened in my life: abuse, death of family members and divorce.
