About the Author

Elder David Martins is a member of Cherubim and Seraphim and the overseas national training coordinator of the Training and Capacity Development Directorate of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim. He was marched to Jordan by late Mother Captain Sabina Akiremi and raised in Ife-Oluwa House of Prayer, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria. He graduated from University of Ibadan, College of Medicine in Nigeria in 1989 and moved to Los Angeles, California in 1991 to advance his medical education. He is a practicing board-certified physician scientist in the city of Los Angeles. He has participated in several landmark studies on hypertension and contributed extensively to medical journals and professional books on hypertension and kidney disease in the United States of America. He was an adjunct clinical professor of medicine at the University of California Los Angeles, David Geffen School of Medicine until 2022 and remains an associate clinical professor of medicine at the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles. The book, Faith of Our Fathers: Mission and Message of Cherubim and Seraphim is a comprehensive compilation of materials developed for the Training and Capacity Development Directorate of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim and now made available for the education and edification of members of Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide.
