About the Book

From the time that she was only a few months old up until about the time she was nine years old, Kadence spent every weekend with me and my beautiful wife. Kadence is the smartest, bravest and most wonderful niece any tio and tia could have! When she was three her mom gave birth to Neo, her little brother. When he was old enough, he would stay the weekends with us also. Now Kadence is 11 and in middle school. Although they do not stay over every weekend anymore, we still go out on many adventures; either with me and my wife or with my grown daughter Laura, who is also their godmother. We cherish the memories that we had at the time when they were with us every weekend. One day, when Kadence was about 7, I asked if she wanted to help me write a book about her experiences with us. I would do the writing and she was to do the illustrations. She gladly agreed! I wrote the story and shared it with her, she approved and made the first illustration. As time went on, she never got to finish her paintings. A few months ago, I asked her if she would mind if I finished the illustrations for her? She agreed, and here we are. I hope you enjoy these wonderful memories of our times together and I hope our warm treasured memories blesses your hearts as it did for me and my family.
