About the Book

You don’t know me yet, but I have an important message to share.

My name is Gabby Brackman, my life before you I will bear.

This is my story, how sad but true.

I was sixteen years old and never knew.

The importance of life, love and living each day.

The importance of being who I am, and that being ok.

You see, I have made the biggest mistake of all.

A mistake that is permanent and final, but then I saw.

Everything for what it really is, the truth.

The evidence was clear I needed no other proof.

The choice I made, I cannot change.  I’ve tried.

No matter how much I beg, plead and cry.

I messed up and now I must pay.

In the most torturous and disturbing way.

I have destroyed lives not just my own.

You won’t believe what I caused all alone.

Calling me a murderer is not a harsh enough word,

To describe the madness I have caused, seen and heard.

If I could have focused more on the good instead of the bad,

I could have saved myself, my mom and my dad.

You must understand if I could go back in time,

Those thoughts, I would never allow to come to mind.

What you will see first is someone who is deceived,

by her own mind, thoughts and feelings, she believed.

What you will see last will be the very end of me.

As I close my eyes and forever be,

Gone from the world and the future that I could create.

I should have realized it before it was too late.

From the beginning to the end will be quite a shock.

But my life I beg, please do not mock.

About the Author

I believe that my greatest strength is captured within my imagination. All through my life, I have relied on it to bring me out of situations that I never really desired to be involved in. I have always been a huge dreamer and I wish that everyone would dream. Because it is the best experience when your dreams come true and it will help you face the unknown tomorrow. My final thoughts of myself are summed up in the next few sentences and words that I truly live by: I am by far not complex I have chosen to be forever young I will create despite criticism I will be whoever you imagine me to be. Your imagination is a gift that you should always be encouraged to use. Don’t just let a book be about the author’s imagination; let it become a reflection of the independence of your imagination.
