About the Author

Lloyd Eldon Miller, Jr. was born September 8, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, the first of three children. Lloyds loving parents, his sister and his brother always called him Junior.  As he grew up, he went to school, though he didnt much care for it.  He would rather stay home  to tinker with his dads tools and make things.  Lloyd has a natural  artistic talent a gift and he loves to draw.  He also enjoyed helping at home.  Like all boys of his age he craved the excitement of sports and wanted to play baseball, softball and basketball.  As a young man, he was tireless and he enjoyed staying up late, but he didnt like to get up early in the mourning.  Lloyd was a personable young man and easily made friends. However, he voiced his opinion and stood his ground against anyone who might try to hurt him or his friends, but he wasnt a troublemaker and he didnt like to fight.  He was unsettled in a way, but he wasnt lazy.  He learned quick, had a knack for catching on and did various jobs, with the best. ..................
