Steve was the all American boy.

Arlo wasn’t even in the running!

They both end up with the girl of their dreams, however, they may not be able to keep them.  The reasons go way beyond their control.

They both have to face obstacles, some insurmountable, along the way.  They are from very different times and very different cuts of cloth, yet both are faced with the same task:  Save the world!

Which one succeeds?

Which one gets lost in the mire of temptation and power?

Throw a Marine Corps lifer into the mix and things get rather twisted.  JFK, Charles Manson, even the Viet Nam war, are touched upon in the quest for life as we know it today.

And all of this not only controlled by, but orchestrated through, Arlo’s House, an abandoned,  dilapidated mansion.  There are more corners around the next corner so don’t put this one down!!

Terry Woolbert, author of the short story A Day in the Life, lives in Lebanon, NH. Local landmarks inspire many of his stories while others are inspired by his twisted imagination.
