About the Author
Judith Belle has taught in the public schools Of America since 1982. After receiving her bachelor's degree in fine Arts, she discovered a love for sharing the arts with children and began designing arts education programs, first in Santa Fe, New Mexico, then in Toppenish, Washington, where she pursued her teaching certification on the Yakima Indian Reservation . Beginning as an art teacher, she has since taught in every academic discipline, integrating the arts throughout the curriculum. In the 1990s, her curriculum took on the daunting challenge addressing of school and societal violence, including the Oklahoma city bombing, and the murder of one of her 6th grade students. Ms Bell now resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where her spirit calls home.
