About the Book

Blinding Moments is a Christian romance regarding the blinding moments of the protagonist, Laki McCallahan, trying to hold on to her heart despite the manipulations of her year younger sister, Sacha, the antagonist.

Her redeeming sight returns in time for her to not to allow her happiness to be forever destroyed. Sacha seduces Brian, Laki’s fiancé, culminating on the night before they were to have gone to Baltimore to Laki’s wonderful aunt. From there Brian was to go to the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, and Laki to the famed Juilliard School of Music in New York City. Both had scholarships.

Laki had to go alone to find her Aunt dead at the foot of the stairs. Sacha had been there and left the ring Laki had returned to Brian. She hid evidence from police and her father. Sacha deserted her baby, leaving Denver with Penny’s husband, Tom. Penny was Laki’s best friend. Tom was killed in Nevada; Sacha was brought back dying. She begs Laki to forgive her, which she does and asks her to come back and marry Brian and help him raise their child.

Tim Ruffner, who with his father, owns the Palatial Arms hotel where Laki lives in New York, professes his love for her. Laki thinks that the love she had with Brian was forever but discovers it wasn’t. She and Tim are planning a wonderful wedding at ending.
