About the Book

Most of us have played the game Truth or Dare. It is a harmless bit of fun that can lead to giggles for children as they stand on one foot for a minute or maybe heavy petting for teenagers. What happens when the game is no longer harmless? When doing the dare could endanger your life. How does one fight what he cannot see? The world is a place of many mysteries. We live our lives with little or no knowledge of the dangers that lurk in the shadows. Ignorance could be our undoing . . . Winter in the city of Chicago is brutally cold. But this chill in the air is more than the "hawk" sweeping across Lake Michigan. There is a sinister presence that brings more than just an ill wind. Unbeknownst to the people of the city, a battle will be fought for their very souls.
