Written after battling the disease himself, former Marin Independent Journal editorial cartoonist Paul Miller illustrates the story of his journey from diagnosis to treatment to recovery with wit and wisdom through brilliantly drawn cartoon dogs. The guide is a unique way to entertain and educate, not only the one in six American men who suffer from the disease, but also loved ones who want to understand what to expect and learn how to support them.

About the Author

Paul Miller has been a professional cartoonist for 45 years. He has worked for several newspapers throughout Marin County, California. He began in his 20s as the editorial cartoonist for the daily newspaper now called the Marin Independent Journal. Later he was the editorial cartoonist for the Novato Advance and contributed to the Pacific Sun in Mill Valley and the Tiburon Ark. Miller has also taught English and cartooning at the College of Marin. He was in the Marine Corps and attended UCLA. He lives with his wife, Donna, in San Anselmo, California.
