About the Book

A Cartoonist’s Guide to Prostate Cancer is a playful, informative handbook for coping with the second most common cancer among American men. Written after battling the disease himself, former Marin Independent Journal editorial cartoonist Paul Miller illustrates the story of his journey from diagnosis to treatment to recovery with wit and wisdom through brilliantly drawn cartoon dogs. The guide is a unique way to entertain and educate, not only the one in six American men who suffer from the disease, but also loved ones who want to understand what to expect and learn how to support them.
