About the Book

Elizabeth Chandler was in college when her childhood sweetheart joined the army. Nick had no money for college but after a hitch in service, his college would be free and they would get married. Halfway through his enlistment Nick was captured and thrown in a prisoner of war camp. Uncle Sam notified his aunt that her nephew was missing.

Liz finished college, got a job and did free-lance writing. She had promised to wait for Nick, but after two long years had passed, she was sure that he would not be returning.

Liz married and moved away. Then news came that Nick was alive, released and was coming home.

Liz, stunned by the news, was in shock. Nick was devastated to learn that she got married while he was gone. He swore that if he could not have her, then no one could. Nick stalked, and tormented her, until she had to take measures to keep him away from her. Nothing she or her husband could do deterred Nick, who was determined to have her.

Liz, after being driven across state lines, and finally exhausting all of her options, goes back to her hometown to decide another strategy.

Nick, heavy into drug use, kept his promise and chased her down, then kidnapped her to keep for his very own. After sharing her with his friends, forcing them to perform for his home movie, he then murders them for their efforts. A Werewolf enters the scene and the action escalates in leaps and bounds. Follow Liz as she unrehearsed, skids lonely into the unknown.
