About the Book

This is a collection of the most devastating and valuable moments that occurred in my life over the past couple of months. The poetry makes my neurosis seem elegant and almost a quality to be envied, while the short stories are fictional to a certain extent and madly inventive. These passages touch upon almost every event I have encountered lately and every thought that keeps me sweating at night. Self-examination and vanity have never seemed so handsome, and the actions of my loved ones have never seemed so vile. I may have made some of this up, but for the most part, this is my mutilated sense of self.

About the Author

Amanda Henderson has been writing youthful short stories and naïve poetry since she was in elementary school. Throughout the years her writing has become madly inventive and far more eloquent then her past stories, and has brought her to publish her own collection of short stories and various poetry. She reflects on real life situations as well as the events occurring in the lives of her loved ones for her inspiration throughout her short collection, and depends on her own personal depression for her dark and intricate passages. Amanda is a mere seventeen years of age, and lives in the flourishing state of New York.
