About the Author

Ranse Leembruggen was born in the jungles of Malaysia between 1943 and 1945. His nomadic existence as a child took him through Southeast Asia. Extreme circumstances forced him to Glasgow, Scotland, where he found himself indentured as an apprentice welder. Mitigating circumstances led him into the hotel and restaurant industry culminating with three restaurants opening in Nottingham, England. His successes brought him to British TV as a chef, author, and consultant to multi-national food corporations, non-government and government agencies. He is currently retired in Northern Virginia, pursuing his passion as a classical dressage rider and trainer.
