About the Book

Within the pages of this book, you will find  a compilation of poetry and thoughts. They are writings of Inspiration that will penetrate the mind and soul and help strengthen one's resolve during difficult passages that we sometimes have to travel,along the road we call Life, Writings about Friendship; those we consider an ally, or confidante and who sometimes know us better than we know ourselves and writings of love and passion; deep feelings of affection and attraction that allow us to feel wanted, needed and so alive. There are also writings on internet relationships.  The bonds that can be formed through this medium are extremely strong.  When a friendship or love is formed online and there are no pretenses, coverups or games being played, it is a truly wonderful gift and a relationship that I consider as important and maybe even more important than those formed on the outside world. We sense from the written word that which is expressed, and we can be accepted for who we truly are.  Online relationships can bring sadness, happy ever afters and friendships that can last a lifetime.  

      As you turn each page, you will read  that which has truly come from my heart and soul.  They are highly charged with emotion.  And I hope as you turn the last page, your  journey will leave you with smiles, possibly a few tears, but with an abundance of serenity and peace in your heart.

About the Author

Shayna, is the mother of two grown daughters and wife of over 30 years to her husband Robert. She was born, raised and continues to reside in her home town, situated just a few miles north of Boston, Ma. Her love for the English language has been known since she was a child. These are words created from her heart and inspired by those that have touched her heart over the course of her life. Shayna loves to capture the romance and free spirit that resides within each of us.
