About the Book

Satellites link cellular phones and personal communicators into a worldwide communications network controlled by an international consortium of powerful corporations. When a colleague mysteriously dies, Intellicom engineer and ex-Air Force pilot Brett Allman stumbles upon industrial espionage -- Intellicom's computer data base, containing classified military communications chips, had been tapped by unknown sources. Brett searches for a connection between these stolen secrets and the failed Middle East mission that had cost him an Air Force career, his self-respect, and the life of a friend.

In his quest to redeem his past and find meaning to life, Brett discovers a bizarre link between military radios and every cellular phone and personal communicator made -- each contains a strange and complex chip whose functions are unknown. Two exotic women come into his life -- one holds the key to his quest, the other to his death. How he chooses determines not only his personal fate, but the economic and military hegemony of the world.

Brett's quest takes him into Russia and China where he collides with international forces guarding the shocking secrets of the DragonStar Project -- an insidious plot that has already rendered the U.S. military helpless and that threatens every individual who picks up a phone.
