About the Author

FAWN HARRIS, born May 29, 1932 in New York City. Her I.Q. was recorded at 212, when she was tested at the age of six, by Dr. Binet, at Columbia Uni- versity. At eight, she was a quiz kid on radio station, WOR, in New York. She entered New York University at sixteen. Fawn moved to Los Angeles in her early twenties, where she authored short- stories and screenplays, and developed expertise in antiques, dog breeding and genetics. She was a frequent guest on radio and television. Fawn passed away on March 11, 1998, and is survived by her husband, Paul, and three children. PAUL HARRIS, born December 27, 1926 in New York City. He served in the U. S. Army Medical Corps. during World War II, and was discharged with the rank of staff sergeant. Paul graduated with a B.S. from Long Island University and a M.A. from Colum- bia University, N.Y.C. A former health educator, he later produced trade and antique shows in the southern California area. Mr. Harris conducted the research and editing for this book.
