About the Author
Samuel is a self-taught artist and photographer. Graduating with a Master of Science in Education degree from the University of Southern California, he formalized his education in the visual arts by attending the New York Institute of Photography, Rocky Mountain School of Photography and will graduate from the Brooks Institute of Photography in 2003 with a Master of Science in Photography degree. At these institutions, he combined his passions for teaching, painting and drawing with the chemical and digital photographic processes. Photography, like drawing, is a way to experience the moment and SEE anew. He is best known for his artistically rendered photographs of the female form. He has shown his work internationally, won awards and medals for his photographic works. This book is the accumulated information obtained while attending and teaching digital imaging workshops, and combines the traditions of the artist and photographer with new digital technologies. Samuel is represented by Atelier Lucia Studio and Gallery in Austin, Texas. He is always obliged to hear and readily share information with fellow artists.
