Tom Johnson’s professional life covering a span of 36 years centered on the growth, marketing and sales of the family business, POBCO Plastics which is viewed on www.pobcoplasics.com. This involved traveling to near and distant lands in the quest of business, and often ended with a few days of Tom casting his fly on some foreign waters. Many of Pobco’s plastic components find their application on food and fish conveyors which relates to the processing of native and domestically-reared fish. Tom wrote numerous articles in a variety of trade publications related to product applications in these and other material handling markets. He is passionate about conservation and preservation issues and in encouraging the wise use of our natural resources. New England born and bred, his greatest joy and delight are his wife Pam and three girls Katie, Karin, Bethany and grandson Gabriel Tom resides in Sutton, Massachusetts and Cushing, Maine.
