About the Author

Hello, I’m Lyn. I have lived in Essex for the last fifty-eight years, from the day I was adopted when I was just a few weeks old. I have four children all flown away from the nest, living their lives. I found out, after having my last baby, that I have hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy type 1 or Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. I live on my own with my three beloved dogs.
