About the Book

After the suicide of her husband, Allen Stolz, Kathryne Kassell, a foreign language and music teacher, finds herself totally unprepared for a life as a single woman. She did not expect to become widowed at a fairly young age, and she feels both sad about and angry that Allen didn’t ask her permission to kill himself. After a brief mental breakdown, Kathryne returns home and has to deal with the financial mess with which Allen left her. She consults a financial advisor, Rick Liberani, who was a former friend of Allen’s, in order to make sense of all the debts Allen had left behind. Upon entering Rick’s office, she is totally unprepared for the overpoweringly sexual effect Rick has on her. When she discovers that Rick had an equally potent reaction to her as a woman, she has to decide whether or not to become involved with his magnetic but unavailable man. Throwing caution to the wind, she embarks on a tempestuous and unbelievably erotic affair with Rick only to find out that Rick isn’t the man she thought he was and that she has to make decisions each time their relationship develops further. To make matters more difficult, another sexy man enters her life, a man who reminds her very much of her late husband Allen and who will not take “No” for an answer. Will Kathryne be able to choose between these two very different men? That is what you will need to find out as you read this compelling novel.
