About the Book

A mass of secrets—these secrets have been building since before she was born. Sandrid Sky has had suspicions about her parents since a ball of light first appeared above her mother. She never asked. The secrets kept building. She had dreams of a different world much like ours, but with abilities—magic we would call it. An image of a sword resides in her dreams, and it calls her name. Then, they began breaking, and Sandrid finds herself in this very world with the sword in hand, abilities she had only dreamed of, and an importance she never thought she had.

About the Author

I am from Idaho and have lived in the mountainous terrain most of my life. I spent my time here in a small town with six hundred people during the summer months. Here is where I lived in solitude, confined to the many worlds inside my mind by choice. I have been writing since sixth grade, hoping that someday my ideas would grow enough to make it into your hands. They finally have, and I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I do.
